The amount of premix required in the ration varies with the amount of milk production and kind and amount of forage and concentrate being fed. This premix is designed to be fed with a roughage program that contains moderate levels of calcium and should be mixed at 100-125 lbs. per ton to the desired protein level. A buffer should be added as needed. Consult your Kalmbach sales representative for ration balancing assistance and best results with this product.

 In order to decrease the protein level by 1%, add 50lbs./ton of corn in place of 50 lbs./ton of SBM.
