Mix 1775 lbs (88.75%) whole shelled corn with 225 lbs (11.25%) Allegro Grower/Finisher Supplement with Rumensin to make one ton (2000 lbs) of complete feed. Do not mix for prolonged time in power mixing equipment as pellet breakdown occurs and animal performance is reduced. Always put corn in mixer first, add supplement pellets, mix for minimum possible time, and feed to cattle as soon as possible.

Steer Stuffers: Provide as sole ration to no-roughage adapted growing/finishing cattle. Provide 2-4 inches of self-feeder space per head. Adjust feeders so feed does not build up in bunks. Clean feeders and waterers weekly.

Bunk Feeding: Feed 2-4 times daily to no-roughage adapted growing/finishing cattle. Cattle should be fed consistent amounts of feed at the same time each day. Allow 10-12 inches of bunk space per head. Calves weighing 400 lbs. will consume 11-14 lb./hd/d of complete feed, while 900 lb. calves will consume 20-24 lbs/hd/d. Adjust the amount of feed gradually over 3-4 days so that the cattle will clean up all feed once each day. Bunks should be clean before the morning feeding each day. Make changes in feeding program slowly.
