This is where you'll find the latest news and updates from Kalmbach Feeds. Check back often and enjoy your visit to Kalmbach Feeds! We are Mike & Kathy Lott from Plant City, Florida and we wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We have raised and shown dairy goats for about 10 years throughout Florida. We have Nubians, Recorded Grades and LaMancha’s. We maintain about 25 animals year round. All animals are registered through the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). Our local dealer in Plant City is The Hay Depot owned and operated by Phil Hicks. What a great person. I cannot say enough about the hard work Phil and his father put into the Kalmbach Feed name. We have been on Kalmbach feeds 16% Textured Goat Feed (T6615), and 2:1 Goat Mineral (6320) for over 3 years. We have tried all the other national brands and can say Kalmbach is the very best feed/mineral of any we have ever been on. The one thing we must comment on is the quality control or consistency of your feed/mineral. During the 3 years and hundreds of bags later there is no variation in the feed. WOW! We can say that it is the most important thing that we look for in a feed. T6615 is such a fine product that we have actually had to back off on the feed due to our bucks and does were actually gaining too much weight, even during the very hot and humid summer months of Florida. Another feature that is working for us is our parasite control is much easier, we believe that is because of the quality of your product! Our show season in Florida runs November to April and our does and bucks have really shined while being on T6615. During the 2009 season we watched our animals move up in the lineups. 2010 was a banner year for us. We were able to complete 5 animal championships, 4 does and 1 buck. What that means is those animals are registered through ADGA as permanent champions and it shows on the registration papers as “GCH”. January 15th was our first show of 2011 at the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, FL and we came away with 2 Grand Champions, 1 Reserve Grand Champion, Best Doe in Show and countless 1st/2nd placing. February 11th was our State Fair, Tampa FL, and we walked away with 2 Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champion. One of the Grand Champions we were really proud of was on our 2 year old Recorded Grade, that one finished her as a permanent champion.February 26th was the Pasco County Fair, Dade City, FL, another Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion. And again another finished champion.March 26th was the Florida Dairy Goat Association Club Show, Dade City, FL. We added another Grand Champion.April 9th was the Forever Goat Club Show, Arcadia, FL. Another Grand Champion. Myself and my wife are very proud of our accomplishments, but it’s Kalmbach Feeds that needs the spotlight. Thank you again for a product that is the BEST IN THE NATION. The picture is at the 2011 South Florida Fair with myself, my wife and the ADGA Judge Ellen Considine and our Best Doe in Show “CH Strawberry Girl Lady Morgana”. Thank you again,Mike & Kathy Lott

Kalmbach Feeds was one of the many sponsors this weekend at Creek Bend Ranch's Buckin' Ohio show in Burbank, Ohio. On July 24, approximately 25 kids took part in the Mutton Bustin' event. There was bull riding, an ice cream eating contest, a stick horse race, barrel racing, and plenty of good food for all to enjoy.
Dr. Dan Burke, Director of Tribute Equine Nutrition / Kalmbach Feeds, attended the University of Findlay's Equine Awards Banquet on April 7. He presented Kalmbach Feeds Scholarships to: Mark Coley, Sarah Shoulders, Lauren McDevitt, and Tamra Guy. It was a very nice program and the students were very appreciative of our support. The University President was there along with all the staff from the Equine Program. They asked me to send their appreciation to Paul Kalmbach and the Kalmbach team. Dr. Kerns, the Director of Veterinary Services, asked me to say a special "hello" to Paul.
