Generations™ Commercial Calf Starter 23 (Monensin)

Feed Commercial Calf Starter 23 beginning at day 3 at the rate of 0.63 lb to 4.45 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight, depending on the severity of challenge to calves, to provide 0.14 – 1.00 mg of Monensin per 1 lb of bodyweight per day and 0.1 mg diflubenzuron per kg bodyweight. The maximum feeding rate is 8.9 lb to provide a maximum level of 200 mg per head per day. Place fresh feed in front of the calves daily.

Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulations containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Keep out of reach of children. Discard empty container according to local regulations. Never reuse empty container.
