The Layer Days® Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 8:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, August 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday September 30, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Kalmbach Feeds® Inc., 7148 State Hwy 199, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351 and The Chicken Coop Company, 9234 Kingston Pike #1114, Knoxville, TN 37922 (“Sponsors”).
ELIGIBILITY: the Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are age 18 or older at the time of entry and U.S. legal residents that reside in the forty-eight contiguous United States and District of Columbia (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Employees, suppliers, officers and directors of Sponsors, as well as their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies, legal advisors, immediate family members, and persons living in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Additional restrictions may apply. All participants entering the Sweepstakes agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
ENTRY: To enter, visit https://www.kalmbachfeeds.com/pages/all-about-poultry?_pos=2&_psq=chickens&_ss=e&_v=1.0 to submit the Layer Days® Sweepstakes entry form. Website entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 and tracked by Kalmbach Feeds®. Limit one entry per person. You may enter the Sweepstakes under one name and one email address only. Only use an email address subscribed and registered in your name. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same email account, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry. The authorized email account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, AI, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. An eligible individual receives one automatic entry into the Sweepstakes when he/she submits the requested information. The email address submitted must be valid at the time of Sweepstakes entry and at the time of Prize drawing. All entries shall become the property of Sponsors. If you upload an image as part of your entry you are representing that you have full ownership rights in such image, and you hereby give Sponsors an unlimited, irrevocable license to use such images for purposes of promoting the Sweepstakes, including without limitation the reproduction, display, and dissemination of the image on Sponsors’ marketing materials. You also represent that no individual, with the exception of yourself (if you so choose), is included in such image, and that if you are included in the uploaded image you waive all right of publicity and/or privacy and acknowledge that Sponsors may utilize the image as provided for promoting the Sweepstakes. You agree to indemnify Sponsor for any claim of infringement, actual of threatened, made by any third party regarding such image, or any dispute arising from publicity and/or privacy rights associated with any individual included in the image. If you participate in the email opt-in on the Sweepstakes entry form you are providing your consent for both Sponsors to utilize your name and email address to send you email communications containing information about Sponsors’ products and promotions.
PRIZE: 1 (one) winner will win 1 (one) Grand Prize consisting of twenty-four (24) 50 lb. bags of Henhouse Reserve® feed, twelve (12) 20 lb. Henhouse Reserve® seasonal poultry blocks from Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., and 1 (one) Orpington Coop,1 (one) 6’ Tall Walk-in Run, and 1 (one) Waterer System by The Chicken Coop Company (collectively the “Prize”). Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. shall provide and ship the feed and blocks to the winner on a monthly basis (2 bags of feed and (1) one poultry block per month for twelve (12) months), and the Orpington Coop, 6’ Walk-in Run and Waterer System as provided by The Chicken Coop Company will be shipped separately to winner at the address submitted in the Entry or otherwise directed by winner in writing to Sponsors. The Prize can only be shipped to a location within the contiguous 48 states. The Chicken Coop Company will coordinate with winner on the approximate delivery of the Coop and Walk-in Run and Waterer System. Winner is solely responsible for the installation/setup of the Coop and Walk-in Run and Waterer System. Sponsors cannot ship any portion of the Prize to PO boxes. Poultry block flavors will vary, depending on the season. All Prize details are ultimately at the Sponsors’ discretion. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsors’ discretion. The Prize is nontransferable.
SELECTION OF WINNER: The winner will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received, to be held on or about Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Within five (5) business days of the drawing, the potential winner will be notified via the email address provided upon entry. Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify potential winners. By accepting and/or using the Prize, Winner consents to the use of his/her names, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law and upon request will provide such consent in writing. Winner, by their participation, and any heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby releases and forever discharges Sponsors, their employees, officers, directors, and agents from any and all claims arising out of or in any way connected with the use of his/her names, voice and/or likeness now and in the future. Sponsors will determine in their sole and absolute discretion whether or not the winners’ name, voice and/or likeness shall be used in any manner. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible or fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time award notification was sent to the email provided in the entry, the Prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. Winner shall assume any and all responsibility as to federal, state, or local taxes in connection with the Prize, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of the Prize not specified herein as being provided.
RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participant agrees to release Sponsors and any other persons or entities associated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize, advertising, or promotion of the Sweepstakes, and each of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agents, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, as well as their successors, representatives, and assigns, from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss, or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. Participant agrees, in the event that they are the
Winner, to release Sponsors from any claim of harm, injury, or damages associated with the receipt, use, possession, storage, installation and/or maintenance of any part of the Prize.
Participant holds all responsibility to comply with any applicable federal, state or local laws in connection with their entry and use of any Prize awarded. The receipt by the winner of the Prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (AT SPONSORS’ SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNERS’ DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By entering, participant agrees (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which shall be final, and (b) that Sponsors, agents and representatives of Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, legal advisors and advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsors that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, installation, setup, maintenance, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time if the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual or entity it finds to be attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Sweepstakes. The decisions of Sponsors concerning any and all matters with respect to this sweepstakes shall be final.
APPLICABLE LAW: THIS SWEEPSTAKES AND OFFICIAL RULES ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF OHIO, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Ohio having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participants’ actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Requests must be received no later than Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
