Henhouse reserve is a fantastic product

"I buy the 30# bag and mic with the mini pellets.. a complete balance of nutrition. My girls eggs are beautiful goldenrod orange. They taste flavorful and buttery .. seriously. When the cows were on harveststore feed I could taste the difference in the milk from grass. That being said what you feed your chickens WILL. impact the egg Color & taste"

My girls love this stuff!

"Have been feeding to my girls and rooster for 2 years along with Kalmbach scratch feed. I have been blessed with healthy happy birds in a very harsh northern New Mexico climate. Eggs are great but they have become mostly loved spoiled pets🥰"

Great poultry feed

"I have been using henhouse reserve since my chickens got to 12 weeks, they thrived during the cold winter months, laying eggs the whole time never slowed down, my eggs are a nice dark yellow gold yolk with bright whites, I have a mixed flock of chickens, all healthy and doing very well on this feed"

— Luanne P. (5/5)

Love this feed!

"I have a mixed flock of chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese and they all eat it without any issues. I noticed my yolks are more orange than prior to feeding Kalmback Hen House Reserve. Perfect for someone who has mixed flock and impossible to buy different poultry feeds for different birds."

— R F. (5/5)

Healthier Birds

"My flock loves this feed. Since they have been om it , beautiful feathers, increased egg production, and overall healthier birds. Well worth the price."

— Pauline W. (5/5)

hen house reserve

"my chickens really don't like those reddish looking pellets, even the wild birds don't like it ! if i mix it with 50% cracked corn most will then eat it all."

— Robert I. (4/5)

Pellets left behind

"Certainly a good looking feed, however all my birds leave all the pellets behind. You need to reformulate them as it’s not only my birds… it’s a common complaint"

— Mark D. (3/5)

New at this

"I am a new grower with a flock of 20 hens. I started them on the crumbles and am gradually switching to the full grain feed. They were hatched in June. The oldest started laying around Thanksgiving. They prefer the grains and leave the crumbles for last. I'm still getting a couple small eggs each week as the girls mature. On average, they are laying 4-6 eggs a day. As they grow to maturity, I am feeding them more. Heard that they will eat 1/4 to 1/2 lb per day."

— Pamela H. (5/5)

Henhouse Reserve

"My birds eat every single bit of this feed. They love it so MARK D, speak for yourself"

— Karen R. (5/5)

Gone in seconds, favorite treat

"My only complaint is my chickens love this feed too much lol they get it as a treat now and eat every bit of it except the tiny brown round seeds. No idea what they are but they’re left behind. We normally got through a bag of feed a week, this feed was gone in 4 days!! My little piggies would eat this 24-7 if they could and I’d be forced to move in the coop with them to afford their meals. But as a snack it’s our go to. Excited to try the new one with the mealworms however you may want to consider black soldier fly instead. Way more nutritional."
